AverageJoeBourbon and Mixed Drinks Monday
“The Vieux Carré”
Mix together.
2-3 drops Peychaud’s Bitters
2-3 drops Angostura Bitters
1-bar spoon of Bénédictine
1 oz Cognac
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 oz Pinhook Rye Whiskey
After mixed
Lemon peel
Black Cherry
Add ingredients in order above, and then take a 2×2 Kentucky Straight Ice square and place it in the mix with a bar spoon. Stir the drink with the ice cube until it is chilled. Take lemon peel and spritz over top of drink and rub inside and out of the top of the rim of the glass, then discard the peel. Drop in a black Cherry and enjoy!!!
